I am generally available to see clients online on Tuesdays from 1pm until 6.30pm, Wednesdays 9am until 6.30pm and Thursdays 9am until 2pm.
I generally use Zoom as a platform for online consultations, but Skype or alternative platforms may be used by negotiation. Appointment times will usually be agreed by email or during prior sessions. I will send you a link to any upcoming session by email in good time.
An invoice payable by BACS will be sent to you by email after each session.
The therapy I offer is a talking therapy and does not involve any physical activity or medical examination. Sessions last for 50-60 minutes and usually take place on a weekly or fortnightly basis, although this is negotiable. During an initial assessment session (charged at a reduced fee), there will be a chance to explore the issues that have brought you to therapy and to consider approaches to treatment. This is also an opportunity for both parties to decide whether they can work together and to decide how many sessions are likely to be needed in the first instance. In most cases, a minimum of 6 sessions is recommended, but this is individually negotiable and will be reviewed at regular intervals.
All information disclosed in therapy will be treated as confidential. The need to breach confidentiality is very rare indeed and will happen only in situations where I have serious reason to believe that a client is a danger to themselves or others.
If you are not sure whether online sex and/ or relationship therapy is likely to be helpful to you, or if you have questions that have not been answered here, please do not hesitate to contact me for a confidential telephone conversation or email exchange.
